BIO

I am a London based, multi media artist.

​

My main field of work is painting in acrylic, ink and mixed media on paper an canvas.

I work as well  with print (on paper and acetate), etching, multi media sculpture and photography.

​

I draw my inspiration from nature, travel, and the great outdoors.  

In my work, I want to share the way in which I perceive colours and nature.  I want to explore the thoughts and feelings that an experience of nature invokes.

Everyone experiences nature differently.  Everyone perceives a different aspect of the greater whole.

I don't desire to present a particular place.  I am interested in that internal space in every person that comes alive:  Not an experience, but the experiencing;  not one level of life, and not one particular stage of the cycle...  The experiencing of the whole thing.

The "Truth" of Life in Nature.

Not 'reality', 

Not a particular place.

Not a representation.

The 'experiencing' is the focus of my work, not the place or the weather where the experiencing occurred / was provoked / invoked
